2019 in Review with Stroud Homes Ipswich

Happy New Year from the Stroud Homes Ipswich team!

Peter Woolgar is the Salesperson for Stroud Homes Ipswich and describes the building year behind him as exhilarating, frustrating and fulfilling.

Before another busy year takes off for the popular home builder, we have a chat with Peter to hear about the highs and lows of 2019 and what’s in store for 2020.

What was the highlight for your franchise in 2019? You are more than welcome to talk about a few!

Starting construction on our biggest home to date!

What was the biggest hurdle you or your business overcame in 2019?

Managing to continue to help people build their new home, even in the downturn in the new home market.

Did you notice any building trends in your region over the year?

People are looking for a complete turnkey package, they simply want to move in and unpack their boxes.

We are also noticing a trend of people returning to larger blocks with acreage style homes.

Have a read about how Building Acreage Homes in Ipswich might be something for you.

Any particular areas/suburbs in your region where it has been more popular, or becoming increasingly more popular, to move to and build new homes in?

Some popular estates in the Ipswich area:

  • Paradise Heights at Deebing Heights, as there are some large acreage blocks fairly close to Ipswich.
  • Karalee has also seen a few people looking to move in as there are still some riverfront blocks available.
  • Ripley has continued as a massive new town centre with hundreds of builds in the area.

Check out some of Stroud Homes’ House & Land Packages in these area.

There’s also a new school in Providence, South Ripley opening in 2020. If you are interested in building in Ripley, Pete gives us all the information in this new video!

What are you most looking forward to in 2020?

Building larger acreage homes and expanding our investment range.

Do you have any personal or business-related New Years’ resolutions or goals you are setting for 2020?

Personal: Lose 20kgs / Business: Beat my record for the most sales in a year.

Lastly, any important dates or milestones we should know about for 2020?

Our Ripley display homes are due to shut in late 2020, so if you haven’t had a chance to see them yet, you should definitely make some time this year!

We will of course also be looking at building a new display early this year, with completion to line up around the same time as our current Wildflower 256 and Avoca 227 closing.
