The Broad Overview of the FHOG Grant:
No Stamp Duty is paid on vacant land purchases up to $250,000 – this is a saving of up to $7,175!
(even if the land is more than $250,000, only a reduced rate of stamp duty is charged on the amount above $250,000)
A $20,000 Grant is paid by the Qld State Government to eligible First Home Owners

The total purchase price of the Home + Land can’t exceed $750,000

To be Eligible for the Grant:
A land contract must be signed to purchase the Land
A building contract must be signed to build a New Home on that Land

Both of the above needs to be signed by Midnight, 30th June 2017
