A Year In Review – Daniel Chapman of Stroud Homes Sunshine Coast
Daniel Chapman, owner of Stroud Homes Sunshine Coast, describes the building year behind him and his team as “testing, humbling and rewarding”.
Daniel tells us about some of the highlights of the past year, including good customer feedback and happy handovers, but also some of the more trying times, as when the weather decided to act up at the beginning of the year and it stayed wet for a long period of time. Here’s what he had to say…
“Receiving seven 5 star reviews from very happy customers!”
Daniel has grown up and lived in a number of areas around the Sunshine Coast region, and is personally familiar with their geographic subtleties. He has both lived and worked in Noosa, Caloundra, Buderim and Maroochydore which has been proven an advantage in the building business.
Clients come to the shop with specific building projects because of Daniel’s local experience. “That’s a huge advantage to me and my clients,” Dan says.
“I know the areas very well, I know the conditions affecting them, I know the councils and this makes me confident to build anywhere on the Sunshine Coast.”
“The unprecedented amount of wet weather experienced at the start of the year,” Daniel says.
When potentially heavy rain and storms are on the forecast, Stroud Homes Sunshine Coast want to help ensure your home is prepared. Here are three things you should check:
“People are really looking for alternatives to render (because) it is so common and really quite boring,” David says.
The team at Stroud Homes Sunshine Coast understand that when it comes to houses and building your dream home, the one-size-fits-all-model is a little unrealistic. That’s why they are happy to tailor a design or create a custom home to suit your needs and lifestyle.
“I tell all my clients if we get to the end of a build and they’re not happy, then I’m not happy,” he explains. “That means I haven’t done my job properly. And that’s the difference – we really care about that part of it.
“Having now adjusted to the tough new conditions that banks have imposed on the industry I look forward to seeing the adjustments I have put into place benefit those we build for,” he says.
“…I want to ensure I maintain the high level of customer satisfaction I have been able to achieve but also aid the local community by providing support, both environmentally and socially.”
