A Year In Review – Jason Till of Brisbane West
Last year was a busy but rewarding year for the team at Stroud Home Brisbane West (previously Brisbane West & Ipswich) with highlights like opening up their new, stunning Waterlily 256 display home in Springfield Rise in August and making more clients’ dream home a reality in the western corridor.
We spoke to builder Jason Till to find out more…
On the first week in August the doors swung open to the new, much anticipated, Waterlily display home by the team of Stroud Homes Ipswich. The exhibition saw 40 groups coming through on the Saturday and another 30 groups coming on the Sunday.
“We had a lot of people complement the home saying they loved the finishes and the design. We also had a lot of feedback that our home was something different rather than just the standard rectangle design,” Jason said about the opening.
Boasting four bedrooms, luxurious master bedroom, child’s retreat, butler’s pantry, media room and spacious alfresco area, the Waterlily 256 is an ideal home for most families as there is plenty of space and everyone can have their own areas.
“By utilising our award-winning architect, Tony Domingo, we were able to put together what we think is the perfect design for Springfield Rise,” Jason said and welcomes all to come and visit the home to get a good idea of what living in a Stroud Home is truly like.

Jason describes the team’s year with the words “challenging, exciting, rewarding” and tells about the trials of managing an expanding team.
The Brisbane West area has become increasingly popular with first home buyers especially, and Stroud Homes Brisbane West now has two teams operating independently in the Brisbane West and Ipswich region.
“The two team set-up will be beneficial to clients as they will have a more personal experience with a small, local team that are experts in their local areas,“ Jason said who has constructed more than 500 dream homes over the years together with his team of highly skilled tradespeople and is proud to be part of the booming region.
When asking about any noticeable trends in the region over the past year Jason said:
“We noticed more people looking for larger acreage homes, further away from Brisbane and Ipswich, making the tree change and building their dream home on a large block of land,” he said.
According to Jason this was mainly due to land registration for smaller lot estates being a bit slower in 2018 with fewer blocks available.
The new year is shaping up to be another busy one for the teams building in the Brisbane West area and Jason said the team is motivated to continue to grow and develop as a business, while maintaining their rank as the #1 builder in QLD on product review.
