A Year in Review with Stroud Homes Melbourne North
Stroud Homes Melbourne North builder and owner David Kirby describes last year as ‘a year of lots of learning’.
He says the company has had its struggles, especially with the downturn in the new home market, but with their new Sales Consultant Mark Booth now on board, things are starting to pick up again.
We have a look in the rear view mirror and speak to David about the outlook for the year ahead.
Late last year we had clients, Deb and Gavin, that found out seven weeks before Christmas that Deb had an illness.
So, we made it our mission to have them in their new home for Christmas and we managed to complete this.
This house was supposed to be handed over in late April, but it was bought forward so this very lovely family can spend a wonderful Christmas in their dream home.
Congratulations Deb and Gav, we hope you are enjoying your new home!
We seem to have had a bit of interest in dual living homes (attached granny flats.)
Stroud Homes Melbourne North is experienced in building granny flats and is the only company in the area with already made granny flat plans and home designs.
We can customise granny flats to suit any requirements but we have a range of home designs that have granny flats attached to them already.
Wandong and Kilmore with the new land releases. But families from Melbourne still look to build as close to Melbourne as they can afford.
We are starting the year off with a good number of builds after a quiet 2019. We hope to keep this going as the more builds we have the better value we can pass onto clients.
I plan to put more work into our systems in order to improve turnaround times from enquiry to contract then to build start, just to be more efficient in our office and on-site.
