Three Awards for Northern Rivers

It has been a cracking month for the team from Stroud Homes Northern Rivers as they took out a total of three awards and a commendation at the Northern Rivers Masters Builders 2018 and Housing Industry Australia 2018 Awards.

“The awards are satisfying to be seen as a local builder offering great value and excellence in quality,” says Matt Lowson from Stroud Homes Northern Rivers.

The HIA Housing Awards “identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the housing industry.”

The team from Stroud Homes Northern Rivers were recognised for their custom design work, taking out the win for Best Custom House in the highly competitive $500,000 to $750,000 category.

Perhaps this win is the most significant for Matt and his team, as they worked tirelessly with the client to create, design and engineer all of the features that make this home so unique, including the industrial look external suspended awnings, the stone blade wall that carries from external to internal and back to external as it passes through the home.

“Also, they mentioned they were impressed with the ‘Wow Factor’ of the internal and external culture stone towering the full height from the bottom to top floor walls.”

Master Builders Awards – Winner Dual Occupancy

The team from Stroud Homes Northern Rivers entered two stunning homes into the prestigious Master Builders Awards. The team took out the win for the Dual Occupancy 2018 award for home between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Winning Kentucky design
The home that won this award for them was a Kentucky design Mountain Façade with matching Granny Flat.

This home sits beautifully in its acreage location, stretching wide across the property and it has street appeal aplenty with its Mountain Façade.

The owners of this home also thought it was a winner as they were delighted with the look and the functionality of both homes.

Master Builders Awards – Commendation Contract Home

The modified Wildflower 216 with Alpine Façade received a commendation from the judges in the 2018 Master Builder Association of NSW Regional Award Merit Contract Homes between $300,000 and $500,000.

This home was modified for the clients to extend the alfresco area which further enhanced the outdoor/indoor living area and the Alpine Façade gives this home beautiful street appeal in its rural setting.

Looking Forward

Stroud Homes Northern Rivers enjoy putting themselves and their beautiful builds forward for awards such as these but as Matt says:

“Our quality and service to our customers is always paramount. The awards are just a really a bonus and wonderful recognition of our hard work.”

The team are already looking toward the 2019 award season and they are excited to what the future will hold. “Our popular designs such as the Kentucky and Wildflower will undoubtedly continue to win awards.

It is also exciting that our team are able to create Custom builds and show our innovative abilities to take on challenging projects.”
