Awards, Christmas & A Happy New Year!
It’s been a big year for Stroud Homes as the company has grown with new franchises in Melbourne, Wide Bay, Wagga Wagga, Sydney South West and Brisbane West, as well as taking out a number of HIA awards and a QMBA.
None of this would be possible without the hard work our franchisees put into their new homes and the great customer service we’re known for.
We held an AGM recently to go over 2015, plan for the year ahead and, most importantly, award the hard work of some of our franchisees.
The first award was taken out by Freddy Khachan from Sydney South West. This award is based on the conversion rate from customer enquiries to home sales. Freddy believes his conversion rate comes down to customer service and the “black and white” approach to Stroud’s quotes.
“I think it means our customers are happy with our prices, our service, and honest down-to-Earth approach to what they’re getting in the quote,” Freddy says.
“I get the feeling people are disgruntled with other builder’s low balling prices, and being slugged with tens of thousands of dollars when the time nears to sign contracts.”
Freddy and his wife Sera are looking forward to building their team in the New Year and continuing to build on their reputation for building great homes.
Building veteran Greg Neville of Stroud Homes Toowoomba received The True Builder award, which he sees as a result of many years in the industry while still keeping up to date with what is going on in the building world.
“This means our houses are always built to a high standard and all current legislation,” Greg says.
Our Brisbane North builder, Jace Keirnan, received the Proud to be Stroud award for the enthusiasm of his entire team, and for an extended effort with helping new Stroud franchisees.
“It just reflects the way I feel,” Jace says, “I am proud to be Stroud, and I’m glad it’s showing through – showing my true colours.”
His enthusiasm certainly isn’t waning in the new year either, as he sets his priorities on customer service and building quality homes.
“I want to continue to perfect my homes because there are always new things on the market to make the way homes are built and finished a little bit better – it’s about keeping up with the information.”
Nathan and Terri Dunn of Stroud Homes Gold Coast were awarded Productivity Champion for the year, completing the most milestones compared to the number of staff in their team.
For Nathan this means they have an incredibly efficient team on the Gold Coast, allowing them to provide clients with answers and paperwork in a timely manner, and faster builds.
In the new year they’ll be striving for number one across all domains.
“We’re going to give it all we have whilst ensuring superior customer experiences and immaculate homes built on time, every time.”
Finally, taking home two awards, Matt and Nicky Lowson from Stroud Homes Northern Rivers felt this was a reflection of a lot of hard work in their first year of managing the franchise, and recognition of the core values of how they operate.
“The biggest thing we focus on is servicing the customers which has in turn paid off in the highest customer service award, which is something we’re extremely proud of,” Matt says.
He feels the quality of the home you hand over is just as much a part of customer service as how you interact with the people you build for.
“You can’t hand a terrible house over and have great customer service, it’s got to be a combination.”
Which is what Stroud Homes is all about.
As you can see the end of the year certainly doesn’t bring any slowing down to the Stroud Homes teams, with several building projects underway and due for completion early in the new year.
So for now have yourself a great Christmas, a fantastic new year, and if you’re planning on building a new home in 2016 make sure you contact the award winning builders of Stroud Homes today!
