Brisbane South Home Building Year In Review
For the team at Stroud Homes Brisbane South, 2016 was another great year. Their fantastic team has continued to grow and they’re seeing larger, more custom builds come in.
We spoke to Thomas Eldridge about the year that’s been and the building trends they’ve seen.
“We’ve noticed a trend towards street appeal becoming more important to our buyers, which gives the opportunity to display our upgraded façade options,” Thomas said.
“The majority of the homes we’ve built this year have been very large acreage homes.”
With the availability of larger acreage blocks in and around the Jimboomba area, as well as Stroud Homes’ award-winning acreage designs, you’ll always be able to find a solution for your new home needs.
When it comes to the customers the Brisbane South team have been talking to, they’ve seen a mix throughout the year, including first home buyers, retirees and upsizers.
“One thing that is consistent is the vast majority are owner/occupiers, which means they are all about quality and a long-term investment.”
Another trend has been the additions home buyers are after to suit their changing family situation.
“We’re seeing a great trend towards homes with attached granny flats, which is the perfect solution for many family situations and we’re developing an entirely new range to suit this market.”
While Stroud Homes already has a range of granny flat homes on offer, we’re always looking at ways to add new designs and features, making sure there’s a dream home for everyone.
Whether you’re looking for a house and land package in the local area, or you want to talk about your dream home ideas, our builders are here to help you.
