Building In Wagga Wagga 2017
Stroud Homes Wagga Wagga had a really positive first year in 2016, gaining a good reputation for quality homes from local builders. We asked Toby Harris what they had planned for the new year.
“2017 is going to be massive, a lot of people in the pipeline and an influx of inquiry is expected early this year.”
They already have a number of homes ready to handover in the coming weeks, so families can kick of the new year with a brand-new home, full of high quality, standard inclusions.
At the end of last year, we talked about some of the 2016 building trends we noticed in and around Wagga Wagga. While the new year has only just begun, we asked Toby what building trends he expects to see in 2017.
“I think we’ll see a lot of changes from the norm when it comes to facades; a big Canadian/American influence with stone features, but still keeping with an old Aussie classic with weatherboard touches,” he says.
“A lot of contemporary colour choices could also be a hit.”
They’ve been working on a brand new home design to cater to many of these new preferences and trends.
“We have quite an extravagant Montego design that will be something to look out for in 2017, and is going to be a contender for awards.”
In terms of locations, places like Bourkelands are still a big hit, but there aren’t too many blocks left.
“I think this year is your last chance to grab some premium living blocks up there. Acres from 10 to 20 minutes out of town will be a hit next year I think too.”
