First Home Owners
Lisa and Luke have just had their slab laid on their new home in Parklakes 2.
Luke as a newly graduated teacher and his growing family knew like many young couples that they had to bite the proverbial property bullet.
In doing so they took advantage of the First Home Owners Grant which is offered to first home owners buying off the plan, building or designing their new home.
The First Home Owners Grant is a fantastic tool to take advantage off as the QLD government offers first home buyers $15,000 to help with the building process. As of the 1st July 2016 the government went one better and currently offers $20,000 to new builds, however this is only a temporary helping hand and does expire in June 2017.
There is no doubt that any extra funds are greatly welcomed when building your new home and we strongly encourage all whom are interested and qualify for the grant to take action and start the ball rolling before June 2017.
Just like our new owners Lisa and Luke, many blocks on the coast have narrow frontages, some are even less then 10m wide. We have an array of different home designs that are able to cater for those narrower lots without compromise.
The home that Lisa and Luke have just moved into (below) offers a double bay garage, four bedrooms, galley kitchen complete with stone benchtops and an alfresco area to enjoy all that the coast weather has to offer.
