Modern Home Design in Sydney South West
The Sydney South West region is booming with more and more people wanting to call this area home. With plenty of new infrastructure promised to the area to meet the needs of the growing population and community, many families are looking to call this area home.
Dominique Stamatov from Stroud Homes Sydney South West is helping put many of these families into a Stroud Homes design, Dominique talks to us about what her customers and modern families want from their new home.
“From what I have seen, master bedrooms are now usually at the front of the home and the spare bedrooms – usually for children – are located at the back,” says Dominque.
Older homes tended to have all bedrooms clumped together, where as customers these days prefer to have that distance between rooms. Whether it’s for young families or retirees with guests coming to stay, the Master Bedroom retains its privacy.
Dominique believes that the kitchen is the heart of the home and her favourite design in the Stroud Home range is in the Hudson 278. This galley kitchen overlooks the dining and family areas which gives the home that feeling of connectedness.
The kitchen is well serviced by a large dual entrance butler’s pantry. ‘With the butler’s pantry, you can keep the front kitchen clean and tidy and do all the prep away from the main area and out of sight of the guests,” explains Dominique.
The Hudson 278’s open-plan living area is another great example of what Dominique finds her customers want in a home these day. “Most people love the look and prefer the open space for their children.”
Another feature in this home that is popular with modern families is the need for a media room or child’s retreat. This separate area allows for the family to have a designated area which can be sectioned off from the rest of the house. If unexpected visitors pop by, you can close the doors and the mess of children’s toys disappears.
The team from Sydney South West believe their strongest selling point is the level of standard inclusions they give to their customers.
Inclusions like air conditioning, driveways and letterboxes are often left out by other builders. When you build with Stroud Homes, on move in day your home is turn key.
“My customers really appreciate our all-inclusive black and white quotes when they start looking into the process of building a Stroud home.”
