New Estates Popping Up Everywhere
Though the Display Village where you’ll find Stroud Homes Brisbane West hasn’t officially opened yet, there have been plenty of people coming by to check things out.
“The feedback we’ve been getting from everyone who walks through the door is ‘what a well thought out design,’ as well as being asked if they can use our pool in summer,” says Brisbane West’s newest team member, Megan Thomas.
“We’re in a great location that’s easily accessible for Ipswich locals as well as the surrounding suburbs.”
Building here can be quite different to other regions of Queensland. Ipswich falls within a few different Councils and there can be different local laws and ways of processing applications depending on where you build.
But this is where Stroud Homes Brisbane West has excelled.
“Our local knowledge has proven to be extremely beneficial to our clientele, giving us a local advantage over some of the bigger builders.”
But overcoming challenges goes with the job and Megan is seeing new estates popping up everywhere, giving customers plenty of house and land package options to choose from.
“There’s talk of the Springfield train-line being extended through to the Western-Corridor, as well as a lot of commercial development happening, so you should definitely stay tuned,” she says.
The growth of the local area and increasing land options is bringing in a diversity of building jobs for the Stroud team.
“Ipswich as such a mix of land, from fully serviced acreage lots right down to 350m2 blocks within a 7,000 lot estate.”
Most families looking to build seem to want something in the four bedroom, two bath, two living & media room design range, so the open living design of the Wildflower 256 has been quite popular.
“We try our best to cater to everyone’s individual needs and are always working on new designs,” Megan says.
Building a new home can sometimes be stressful, especially for new home buyers. Yet Megan has found keeping the focus on customer service throughout the build helps to ensure a happy end result.
“The high quality of the build and how easy the process was is always something we’re hearing at handover.”
She encourages those looking to build for the first time to find the right location, a builder they can trust and try to have fun with the whole process.
