Quality Inclusions in Bundaberg

Pre-Priced Standard Inclusions

Stroud Homes Bundaberg are having a cracking year with 15 houses currently under construction and more slabs to go down over the coming weeks, you can be sure that they will be filled with Stroud Homes’ superior standard inclusions.

Anything but standard, these inclusions are pre-priced to ensure there are no hidden costs for their clients and the homes and all the finishes inside are built to last the test of time.

We talked to Sales Support, Courtney Stallard about Stroud Homes Bundaberg’s quality inclusions.

What are the benefits of having pre-priced inclusions?

By having such a high level of inclusions pre-priced in our homes, it makes it really easy for our clients to avoid the temptation of adding a lot of upgrades which can cause price shock.

The base price of our homes is reasonable and competitive, and when you combine this with our inclusion list, it really shows the value and quality on offer when you build with Stroud.

Why is it so important to be upfront with all the costs?

It is common practice for some builders to withhold information about costly site works that will make their initial quote look very attractive.

Customers who are first time builders are usually not aware of these potential pit-falls when it comes to building, and are only looking for the cheapest quote. Unfortunately, these clients can then be stung with extra costs when it is often too late to back out.

At Stroud Homes we don’t claim to be the cheapest, but we do claim to be the best value and most transparent. Our “Black and White Quotes” will include allowances for the worst case scenarios to ensure there are no nasty surprises along the way.

With so many inclusions in the list, are there any that standout for your Bundaberg customers?

Our clients love the 900mm Westinghouse Freestanding Cooker in the Kitchen. It is a real show stopper piece that not only looks great, but also inspires a great family lifestyle.

New customers can really picture themselves living in a new Stroud Home and using this appliance every day, cooking up a storm for their families whether it be a stir-fry on the gas cooktop or a roast in the multi-function oven.

What inclusion do you think is most important for a good build and happy client?

A good build always comes down to the quality of finishes. We offer an independent inspection of the home prior to handover to guarantee this result.

The handovers.com Inspector has an eye for detail that the client might miss being distracted by the excitement of moving into their new home. After running a fine-tooth comb over the home, the Inspector will provide us with a list of items that must be rectified prior to handover to ensure the home is of the highest premium standard.

I believe we also generate happy clients through our stellar communication. Weekly calls from our Contracts Administrator and Site Supervisor keep the client informed every step of the way, and provide a scheduled opportunity for questions to be discussed.

Can you give me an example of where Stroud Homes standard inclusions are better than your competitors?

It’s usually the aspects of a home that you can’t see that dictate the quality. We use T2 blue treated (termite resistant) timber for our frames, along with the most advanced TermX reticulation perimeter termite barrier. Our homes are fully insulated in the walls, ceiling & roof, and we guarantee a 6 Star BERS energy rating.

Not only is the build of a higher quality, but we also include a number of finishing items that other builders exclude to keep their pricing seem attractive. TV antennas, clotheslines and letterboxes all come pre-priced in our homes, which is another reason you can rest assured that your home is all inclusive.

What room do people like to splash out on with your premium upgrades?

They say that Kitchens and Bathrooms sell homes, and we definitely notice that clients are willing to splash out a little more to give these spaces the wow factor. Not only for their own enjoyment of the space, but also as a wise investment for the property’s future value.

Lastly, what feature do they usually upgrade if they choose to?

The beauty of tiles is that you can choose from our standard range for the majority of the home and then pick small areas to upgrade as a feature tile. We have seen some amazing patterned and mosaic tiles recently on Kitchen splashbacks and shower niches.

A luxurious statement to the bathroom that clients love upgrading to is a freestanding bathtub. While practical upgrades to the Kitchen include pot drawers and oven towers.
