Stroud Homes Gold Coast Supports North East Albert Landcare

Stroud Homes Gold Coast proudly supports North East Albert Landcare by sponsoring the restoration of the Pimpama River Project.  This section of the Pimpama River borders a large cane farm and the riparian area requires a lot of ongoing weed control, planting, etc.

Pimpama River Revegetation Priorities

Landcare Co-ordinator Sue Durance explained, “We have undertaken several stages of revegetation which are in varying stages of growth but there is a desperate need for ongoing weed control as well as new areas to be prepared for planting. This site would be the preferred option as it forms part of a larger plan to restore the whole of the Pimpama River.”

The partnership with Landcare will be an ongoing alliance, where we will track the project over a minimum 12 months duration. Our donation is enough to cover 50 houses as part of our ForestLink Program of planting 15 trees per house. Stroud Homes ForestLink will greatly benefit the Pimpama River Project.
