The Year In Review & Looking to 2017
We caught up with Freddy Kachan from Stroud Homes Sydney to talk about the year that’s been and what’s ahead.
He’s enjoyed a great first year with plenty of happy clients, new builds and a whole lot of momentum that’s carrying over to 2017.
He’s noticed most of his customers are either investors or first home buyers, at “about a 40/60 split.”
So far, most of his first home buyers like to change the plans.
“They like that they’re not getting cookie cutter style homes when they build with us. Clients are also very into freestanding baths now.”
From everything he’s seen, the local market is still strong with prices continuing to rise, particularly in a few key areas.
“Airds and Minto have been busy. Austral, Gregory Hills and Emerald Hills should be very busy next year too.”
Freddy’s planning on a massive year for 2017, expecting to put down at least 30 slabs and still build two display homes as well.
For now, Freddy and his family is looking forward to the Christmas break, with plenty of sleep and relaxation before he returns to work on the dozen homes he currently has on the ground.
