Three Wins at the2018 HIA Awards
Earlier this month Slade and Aletha Walters attended the 2018 Housing Industry Association Housing Awards.
The couple walked away with a massive three wins for their hard work, taking out the Display Home of the Year 2018, Project Home of the Year Sunshine Coast/Wide Bay 2018 and Custom Build Home up to $300,000 Wide Bay.
The Housing Industry Association has an annual awards evening that showcases the best of the region. Lots of local builders attend this year they have over 250 builders involved.
It’s always a great night celebrated by many great builders in the region. Slade and I attended on our own this year and we enjoyed seeing the best that the region has to offer.
I believe the difference that we offer compared to any other builder in our area is that we offer the complete package. We are local builders teamed with Stroud expertise. We are young, educated and passionate about what we do.
We have surrounded ourselves with staff that offer traits that we don’t and that just continues to make our team stronger and stronger.
We are always trying to innovate, improve and look for new ways to improve our customer service to our clients. Most of all we are transparent, direct and approachable.
We decided to build the Avoca home because we felt it offered some of the best attributes that a home can offer in the mid range home.
Some people have huge budgets that they can spend on getting everything they could possibly want in a home but for those needing to get the most bang for their buck – the Avoca offers this.
It was really important to me to ensure that the design of the home was warm and welcoming. So many builders are offering greys and whites in their homes these days with lots of industrial tones however the average family wants a home that they can raise a family, feel comfortable and feel like home.
I believe we have offered that with the outdoors coming in and the warm tones that I used throughout the home. We offered the best of everything without raising the price on this affordable home.
We were really excited about our Project Home of the Year not just winning best home in the Wide Bay but Sunshine Coast as well.
The Bronte design has quickly become one of the most popular homes in the Stroud range – showcasing a luxury bathroom, ever popular study nook and butler’s pantry all in one affordable home.
This is my favourite design in 2018. We handed the “Beach Shack” over in January to one of our favourite clients to date. This home was designed in coordination with the clients on a tough block and strict sizes that we had to adhere too.
It features a gorgeous Bronte ensuite, custom front façade which is unique and one of a kind, Hamptons feel with several outdoor areas that offer the home further character.
The kitchen directly overlooks the ocean giving you the most calming effect in the home. I just love everything about this design!
We really enjoy the recognition we receive in the industry for the designs that we bring to our clients. We don’t try and be the flashiest builder nor do we pretend to be the biggest, most trusted or best!
We just want to offer affordable, beautiful homes to the general public whilst bringing the best quality that we can.
