Storage Options

How important is storage to your clients in Wollongong?

Storage seems to be very important based on the conversations I have with my clients.

We have some clients that come up with some very clever designs on how to maximise their storage space when designing their new home.

What storage solution do you use in bedrooms in the Standard Inclusions Range?

In our Standard Inclusions Range we offer wardrobe shelves, hanging rail and top shelf as part of the built-in wardrobe, in all bedrooms.

We find that this inclusion is very popular and our clients love it as it is another thing they do not have to complete after the home is finished and handed over.

Having a walk-in robe used to be the height of luxury, now most Stroud Homes designs feature them in their master bedrooms. Do you think this is what your customers in Wollongong expect?

I do not think it is something they expect, but it is certainly something that they love is included.

What are your premium upgrade options for Wardrobes?

We have an array of layout options for our clients and we will also happily tailor make or customise a specific style.

The Kitchen is another important area for storage. Can your clients make changes to the design and when?

Each design has been priced to include the kitchen layout specific to that home. We will happily adjust the number of drawers or cupboards that are included. This happens during the design phase, prior to colour section.

Do most of your clients expect Butler’s Pantries and Walk In Pantries now?

Not really. They are a nice luxury, not all clients have them on their ‘must have’ list.

If a client would like custom storage in their home either in a media room or kid’s retreat, can you help them with this?

Absolutely!

What do you think is the best advice for anyone planning storage in their new home?

Think of the items you currently have and where you would ideally like them stored in your new home. Then plan a shopping list of new items that you will buy for your new home.

With these items in mind, along with their sizes, you will be able to design your storage needs to perfectly fit your lifestyle.
