Why Choose to Build in Brisbane East
Brisbane East encompasses suburbs to the east of the M1, extending from Cannon Hill down to Eagleby and out to the bay. Stroud Homes Brisbane East builder, David Adams sums up the area saying, “The locality is perfect.
You’ve got the Gateway Motorway to head north and the Pacific Motorway to head south. You’ve got direct access to the bay islands, a couple of minutes and you can throw your boat in at the local boat ramp and be out at Stradbroke Island.” When not building homes for customers, David takes advantage of this location perk as he enjoys fishing on the bay himself.
The diversity of suburbs and therefore of builds, keep David and his team on their toes. One day, David can be working on a home in Carindale, which is a suburb located just 10kms from the city, where density levels and dollar values are quite high. The next day he can be working on acreage in Redland Bay.
“There’s a bit of everything. Small blocks cater for first home buyers, elderly couples wanting a sea change and downsize in lifestyle,” David says as he has been fielding many enquiries from those wanting a sea change up from New South Wales and Victoria. There’s also plenty of space available with lots of larger blocks located quite close to major arterial roads.
When asked to choose a favourite Stroud Homes design David said that, “Everyone, including myself, who walks into a Kentucky says “WOW!” But David is not just into building grand homes, he also enjoys working on smaller block designs like the Wildflower and Paddington. David believes it’s not all about the design but about finding the right house for the right family in the right location.
