“Our target market on the Coast has traditionally been younger families says Tim. Now, we’ve seen a shift in that market where more senior and retiring people are moving from Brisbane and Newcastle to enjoy the coastal lifestyle in high quality, low maintenance homes.”

“These people are used to live in nice, high-quality homes and want to continue to do so, but without having to spend hours maintaining the home.”

We chat to Tim about why people should invest in new homes on the Coffs Coast.

Why Coffs Harbour?

Coffs’ strategic position between two major capital cities on Australia’s east coast and strong economic and population growth is making the region attractive to investors and first home buyers alike.

The City Council’s strategic planning and environmental management, also make it one of the fastest growing and most dynamic areas within NSW. The current population of 75,000 is projected to grow to 96,000 by the year 2036.

Infrastructure

A draw card for many, says Tim, will be the complete 14 kilometre Coffs Harbour bypass project, which seeks to improve connectivity, road transport efficiency and safety for local and interstate motorists.

The NSW Government has also committed $194 million to upgrade the Coffs Harbour Hospital, a redevelopment project that will enhance the existing surgical and operating theatres and add an expansion of community health.

“These developments are all draw cards for our new target market, the aging population and empty nesters, as they usually want to get away from the bigger cities but still with first class health care facilities and the ability to travel to see family.”

From Coffs’ regional airport you can fly directly to both Sydney and Melbourne.
